I just received my G400 32mb DH from Matrox today, and the G400 fan that I ordered from TennMax today. That couldn't have been timed any better. First let me say that w/o the fan my G400 ran somewhat hot, but not bad. I had no trouble removing the heatsink from the card after about 45 mins of using it, it popped right off using a small flat head screwdriver. And the fan is working great.
The only words that I can use to express what I think of this card is AMAZING....
It installed perfectly. No problems with the Tech Demo or Expendable. And the G400 runs QuakeIII better than my STB TNT 16mb card did - that's at 1024x768 w/ 32bit at all high settings (using the G400 1.13 drivers)
My system specs are :
Pentium III 450mhz
196mb PC100 SDRAM
Soundblaster Live
17" Proview Monitor
If you are undecided on whether to by a G400
or not all I can say is do it. You wont be disappointed....
