I'm using a G400MAX running PD 5.15, as I am using it with a Rainbow Runner G-Series card.
I was just trying out the Homeworld Demo, and since it recommends OpenGL acceleration if your card supports it, I selected that in the video setup. The mode switched, but the game informed me that this was "an unaccelerated video mode", and that I would be better off using the software renderer.
The game works find in Direct3D; however, this being my first attempt at using OpenGL on this card, I am not encouraged. Any ideas on what may have gone wrong?
Prior to installing PD 5.15, I uninstalled the previous version using the Matrox uninstall utility. I have not had any other problems with the card or my system.
