Matrox G400 dual head anamorphic squeeze

Has anyone figured out how to get the DVD Max function of the Matrox G400 card to send the anamorphic squeeze signal to a TV using the svideo connection? I'm using the Matrox DVD player that came with the video card and a Sony 32" XBR400. I've set DVD Max for a 16x9 TV. It would be nice not to have to set the 16x9 enhanced mode manually.
