G450 TV out & DVD

I have a G450 32Mb installed in an AMD800 machine, 128Mb Ram etc, and have a problem playing DVD's on it. They work OK on the primary output, but I just get an empty box where the DVD screen should be when I move it over to the secondary monitor. I get the same problem whether I am running a vga monitor or a TV via the supplied rca S-VHS lead. I am running the G450 in Dual Head Mode. Does anyone know the problem?
