G550 - Overlay Failed
Hi i have bought G550 with one analog a one DVI output.
My problem is following:
When I enable second monitor (connected to DVI -> analog reduction) in Windows control panel and want to play video (i use WMP6.4 or Bsplayer) i can play it only ONCE ! If I shut player down and start it again overlay and color space conversion doesn't work. Bsplayer gives a "Overlay failed" and "Switching to RGB" messages. Performance of fullscreen suffers. WMP gives no message but performance suffers too and pverlay doesn't work correctly.
When I disable second monitor everythink works fine. When I restart PC everythink works fine too bud also only once.
She same think happens when i enable DVD-Max mode.
After that "issue" SiSoft Sandra reports no capabilities such 3D acceleration, hw overlay and color space conversion available on Primary Display device.... on Secondary everything looks good but overlay still doesn't work.
I have W2k Professional SP2, DirectX 7, the same with DX 8.1final
I use newest BIOS on G550 and drivers 5.71, 5.72, 5.82beta
