Parhelia HR256

Over on 2CPU, someone is asking about the Parhelia HR256.

More specifically: with a hires display (e.g. IBM T221), what kind of 3D perfomance do you get (in CAD software) ?

I was wondering what the 3D quality was on this board. I've been slowly getting swayed towards this board for a Vid editing rig, but wasn't sure how it would compare to a high-end Quadro FX or FireGl card in apps such as SoftImage, Max, Maya,etc...

Any thoughts here ?

Is there any comparison possible if I test 3Dsmax with a regular Parhelia at 'normal' resolutions ?
