I have a SUN GDM-20D10 monitor. This monitor is not able to display VGA. It is possible
to change the settings of Matrox cards with progbios in order to display the VGA. This is
done by changing the VGA1 PCLK1 and VGA2 PCLK2 values. I succeed to have the 640x480
resolution with a G400 but not the 720x400. I have tried on a G450 dual head but doesn't work. The
frequency are still the default ones. It is possible to have both VGA modes under XP but what i need is this modes at boot.
So my question are:
1/ Does someone konw how to change the bios of a G450 to have VGA display on a fixed frequency monitor
2/ Is it possible to change other bios settings to have the VGA text mode displayed at boot
