What kinds of games do you think could benefit from EBM?
I was thinking about more obscure game genres, like:
Hockey sims... you could use EBM to create REAL reflections, as well as use real environmental lighting to light the players and cast shadows. You could even use different bump maps to simulate different degrees of ice degradation. (Forget this kind of support from EA Sports - thay are a 3dfx shop through n through...)
Flight/air combat sims... Water would look like water, and flares and missiles would light up the airplanes appropriately as they passed by.
I'm on my way to work, so I don't have time to think up more of them. Maybe y'all could help me on this one...
