Half-Life, Win2k - Perfomance and refresh rate
Just a word about gl_texsort 1 : I´m sure most of you still have this line in your opengl.cfg because of the performance increase it did in win9x. Not so in win2k. Actually it is quite faster with gl_texsort set to 0.
Now a question: is there a command to set the refresh rate in Q2 engine based games, like r_displayrefresh in Q3? It´s just a pain in the derriére to play Half-life at 60 Hz. Hope Powerdesk 5.1x for win2k is out soon, hopefully with full monitor costumization. My monitor could just use some tweaks I got under win98 to get a much better picture.
