FF8 Crashes on CD2 -Display driver related?-
On CD2 of Final Fantasy 8, when I escape from the Desert Prison, there is a section in which you walk over a bride, you see a FMV and Squall is hanging on a ledge, you move squall to the right, and when the FMV ends, the bangs shutsdown and goes back to my desktop, without any type of error.
Specs:
Celeron 300 Mhz
Levend-V Motherboard
Matrox G400 Millenium 16mb SH
64 MB ram
20 Speed Philips Cd-rom, and a 26x speed Philips CD-rom.
I've tried just about all the drivers, 2 different Cd-rom players, 3 diffeerent FF8 Cd's. i'm going quite mad here?
someone PLEASE HELP!
If someone has FF8 and can play beyond that point, plz contact me at Warbringer@chello.nl I'd appreciate it if you'd take my savegame, play beyond that point, and save right after it.
