Deus EX is now REAL SMOOTH @1024x768!
I was playing Deus EX with a very lousy framerate @ 800x600 16bits D3D with everything ON (except detail textures: Medium) + Powerdesk 6 + Win98 SE. NOT Smoth!
Yesterday I upgraded to Windows ME (Millennium Edition). WOW!!!!!
Now I'm playing Deus EX @ 1024x768 32bits colors + 32bits details + everything ON (except detail textures: Medium) + Powerdesk 6 at a flawless framerate: REAL SMOOTH!!!!!
I'm really happy about this!
My system: P3 550@616 + 128MB + G400DH 32mb Not overclocked + SbLive 1024.
Just like Unreal Tournment...with speed and smooth @ 1024x768 32bits.
This was the only change: upgrade from Win98SE to WinME (just rename the win.com to win.xxx and install WinME over Win98SE).
