I dug out this little gem a while ago and have been consumed by it (again).
However, with the latest drivers, I can't get the large assets textures to work properly.
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, after the 1.4 patch for BZ, there was an opportunity for Voodoo owners and AGP card holders to get enhanced graphics. This was a file that could be enabled through a .cfg configuration option, namely large assets.
The problem is that the texture detail is being lost in the game - objects have their correct shapes but not their full colours -
it's as if there is partial Gouraud rendering occuring (if anyone's played Turok 2, check at that particular cheat and you'll see what I mean).
If anyone knows what I'm talking about and recognises what I can do about this...please could you contact me.
My sys - W98 SE, G400 32Mb - 6.10 drivers, Athlon 550, Vortex SuperQuad, 128M RAM.
