Race Driver and Surround Gaming

I just got Toca Race driver but it does not work in surround mode.
I have a Parhelia (newest drivers), Windows 2000k SP3, and the newest version of Race Driver.
After i have started the game and chosen 2400x600 there comes the prompt that the refresh rate has to be measured with the whirling cube.
After "Yes, i saw the cube" and "save and start game" the game is not starting.
The prompt is coming once again.
And again, and again.
There is no way to get i run with the apptimizer or other resolutions like 1920x480/2400x800/3024x768.
What can i do.

I think I had the same problem after installing Race Driver update v1.1.120. I got it fixed when I replaced the original RaceDriver.exe file with some cracked .exe file for that update.

Still, I'm not 100% sure that this was the fix, because I tried it many times to get it work and I uninstalled and re-installed the game couple of times.

A friend of mine had this problem, it's not due to the Parhelia or Surround gaming, the game just didn't want to create the proper ini file. Just copy this and paste it to pchardwareconfig.ini then modify it to whatever resolution.
