Tiny Trails - odd colors with G400

Just replaced Mystique G200 with G400. Everything seems fine with the exception of the Tiny Trails demo that came on the Matrox disk for G200 - it runs but in odd colors. Deinstalled and reinstalled it without any help. Any ideas anybody? My kids love this little game and now I am the bad guy.
