Hi,
I use UltraEdit to view the contents of G400.DRV which came
from Matrox PowerDesk 5.50.010. That's the way I try to
discover more switches within PowerDesk.
I found a very interesting new switch called "TnLHalDevice"
within G400.DRV of 5.50.010. This switch should be located
under \DirectX but I am not sure.
Is it possible that this switch would do something about
enable "Hardware T&L" or "Hardware T & Software L" or ....
..... in G400/G400 Max ?(Like many people discussed here)
I try add this switch under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Curr
entControlSet\Services\Class\Display\0000\Settings \DirectX"
and set it to "1". But didn't see any difference with 3DMark
2000 Pro so far.
Also,
There are another new switches called "ForceTextureInAGP"
and "GuardBand" within PD5.50.010.
By the way, there is a switch called "BumpMulti" within
5.41 and both 5.50.005 and 5.50.010. Could somebody please
tell me what is it?
Here is a list of Switches that I found within G400.DRV:
