DELL Sucks!

I dunno if you guys saw this earlier in the month, but Dell was offering the ATI Radeon 8500 For $250 bucks. If you bought it through the Small Business part you could get an additional 20% off. I went this route and got the whole deal with overnight shipping for $213 bucks. Not too shabby for a $300 dollar video card.

Well fastword today. I just got an email asking me if I want keep my order because they wont get to my order (placed Oct 4th) untill the 8th of next month(which I'm figuring is the earliest I'll get it). I've been checking Rage3d.com DGs and theres reports of people who ordered before I did and getting shipping dates of December! I have to the 31st to reply back if I want to keep my card.

I'm starting to have second thoughts about this whole deal. From what I understand Dell is backed up with something like 4000 BO, which I find abosuiltly amazing. How in the hell can ATI do business like this? I would figure they would have at least 10K units ready for shipping or something when they gave their press release.

So any suggestions would be appreated. I'm planning on dumping the card whenever Matrox comes out with something worth a damn in 3d....Talk about waiting for something

The sad thing is, Dell is one of the better places to buy your PC. They're not as good as they used to be, but they're tons better than Gateway, or many others that have died out.

Just got my second notice from Dell today about my order being delayed. I guess I'm gonna tell them to F themselfs and put the video card where the sun doesnt shine. Theres also been reports of people ordering from Dell after I did and them getting their cards already!

Boy I have lost any faith Dell has as a Mail order company...after this faicso.

Please Matrox tell me you'll have something out by time Tax season rolls around? I have a nice 21inch montior that you would look great on!
