I have not been able to spend much time on the forums as many of you know over the last few months. I now have more time to and what do I find? Some people think they own these forums and the rules do not apply to them any longer and they can do what they damn well please. Well guess what? They are wrong. I am not going to tolerate it.

If you are going to go into the Soap Box and pin your banner to your chest and proclaim your beliefs to the World then don't be suprised if people want to disagree with you. No matter how deep you feel about your beliefs and how right you think you are there are going to be very many people who are diametrically opposed to your views and will disagree with you. Those people have every right to be able to express their own views just as much as you. If you are not adult enough to enter into these sorts of debates without losing your temper and issuing abuse then you should not be entering into these debates at all so I suggest you stay well clear of them.

Dogbert is banned, he deserves to be banned for what he posted. I gave him a warning but in his very next posts he carried it on. As far as I am concerned that is the end of the story. If he wants to come and talk to me to resolve the situation as Gurm did then I'm quite happy to talk to him. If it means we lose a few old faces around here to stop all of this crap and get these forums back on track then that is what is going to happen make no mistake about it. I don't care who you are or how long you have been around.

Still KVHagedorn does have a point. Whenever there is a flamewar, Goldstein seems to be involved and heating the thing up....

So that there won't be any confusion, my reply wasn't aimed at Dogbert's sittuation.
Was more aimed at MURC's general sittuation while Ant was "gone". And that quote should say it all.

In regard to Dogbert, he was warned and it wasn't the first time he acted immature in his dealing with goldstein, he deserves to cool down on the penalty bench for a while. As much as see through goldstein's "subtle" methods are, he didn't resort to personal attacks and Joel was on to him, there wasn't any need for Dogbert's outburst, as much as he thought he was entitled to.
