    Actually, I and many others would be happy if the use of "MSC" () on roads during wintertime would be banned
    If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

    Jeremy Clarkson "806 brake horsepower..and that on that limp wrist faerie liquid the Americans call petrol, if you run it on the more explosive jungle juice we have in Europe you'd be getting 850 brake horsepower..."

You see, the water molecule is often graphically represented by the O atom as a large circle and the two hydrogen atoms are smaller circles, looking like Mickey Mouse's ears, on top. This illustrates the reason for the polarity of the water molecule. DHMO is an isomeric form where the left H is in the right position and the right H is in the left position, so that the covalent bonds are inversed. Furthermore, the two H atoms are bonded to the other side of the O atom, so the polar field is inversed.

            There are many cases in chemistry where isomerism produces molecules with entirely different characteristics.

                  It did sound good though!

                  <font size=1>You can't just rotate the molecule and get a stereoisomer, that's why you need at least one central atom with four different atoms connected.</font>
