  • Interestingly positive Dell Customer Service Experience

    I had ordered a digital camera, camera bag and two 1GB SD cards. In my hurry and cheapness, I did not realize that it did not have an optical zoom. I figure they won't take it back. Though I did open and briefly use the camera, I figured it was worth a shot to try and retrurn it. They OKed the return on condition that when receiving it they confirmed what I told them. In that email they said that I was returning the camera and camera bag. I corrected them when emailing them the tracking number for sending them back the camera. This was my only expense and they did not charge a restocking fee.

    I've been checking every couple of days due to wanting to order a replacement for my trip to DragonCon this year. When I checked the amount credited, it still includes the camera bag even though I corrected them.

    I'm up a few bucks and I may have the new camera by Friday.
