NASA's little secret project to land a humanoid robot, Robonaut 2, on the moon and other objects & worlds beyond Earth orbit. This is a free flight test of the RR-1 lander, developed in conjunction with Armadillo Aerospace. The Robonaut 2 page at NASA JSC is here..... The Robonaut 2 itself is being developed in conjunction with GM.

This video is of NASA Project M Lander free flight test at Armadillo Aerospace outside of Dallas. The lander launched on June 23rd 2010. This is the prototype of the lander that will launch a version of Robonaut on future exploratory missions
