Does X 4.2.0 offer any advanced mouse driver options ?

just got my new Logitech Dual Optical, really nice !

XF86Config contains the following:

Section "InputDevice"
Driver "mouse"
Identifier "Mouse[1]"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "InputFashion" "Mouse"
Option "Name" "DUAL OPTICAL MOUSE"
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Vendor" "Logitech"

But are there any more advanced options ? Like under Windows, there you can adjust things like acceleration etc., has X something similar for XF86Config ?

Mouse acceleration (and a lot of other things, not just mouse-related) are controlled by xset once X is running. Run it without any options or man xset to see what you can do with it.

Thanks for that tip, I never thought that xset would be the right place to configure this ! The options at xfree86.org don't go far beyond that I've already known, for those who are interested:
