    modules problems

    Hi guys,

I'd like to know if someone can help me with my linux system... i'm getting unresolved symbols in my soundcard modules wich prevents me from loading it with insmod.... but if i do a modprobe of the same module, it get's detected and loaded without a prob.
What could do that it loads with modprobe and not insmod?

I can give more info if needed, but i don't know what could be usefull... just tell me what u need to know.

That's normal. Modprobe finds the dependencies a module needs and loads them first. Insmod just tries to load the module.
Blah blah blah nick blah blah confusion, blah blah blah blah frog.
