    That was a killer interview. Makes you think really hard about how honest some of those analysts are that try to calculate out the TCO for switching to linux.

      Interesting, he was happy with windows based software and it worked well for him, in fact it he says it helped him start his business.
      It just MS's attitude that made him switch, but he is very happy now after the switch.

      He sums up the situation very well...

              well, the swedish game developer mindstorm found their office occupied by BSA and cops one day when they came to start working

              it's also part of the story that Mindstorm had told MS to go **** themself when MS wanted to buy them up
              If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

                I assume all law enforcement officers are armed, but since the BSA has money to throw around they probably round up as many cops as possible. Don't federal agents get to carry even bigger weapons?

                    Great article, great interview.
                    If I could run the s/w I use for work on Linux, I'd already be there.
