Media Studio hangs, a lot...

Hi Guys,

My own setup with a Marvel and MSP works great. A few weeks ago I installed a similar Marvel in the PC of an uncle. His setup hangs every few minutes. He has a SB64 PCI, a celeron and a Marvel G200. I know that there were several problems with SB soundcard but I don't know what they were. He sometimes gets an "Illegal operation" message and sometimes, the screen just becomes black.

Before I visit him, I would like to see whether you have had similar problems and know if the SB may be the problem.

Is it MediaStudio 5.0 or have you updated it to 5.2 ?

thanks for the replies. I've read all information and will be checking this out myself as well. I haven't used the mentioned function for some time now. Maybe my problems from a few months back (when I did use those functions) are related to this. I will let you all know as soon as I've tried...
