RR-G not detected installing VidTools 1.51

I hadn't used my RR-G since I last reinstalled Win98 a couple of months ago. Last night, I took the plunge and tried to install the Video Tools 1.51, at which time I was told that the installation program could not detect any video hardware.

I know that people have had similar problems in the dim & distant past, but I can't find anything using the Forum's search engine.

Please help!
