video capture totally unpredictable G400 with RR-G

I have a PII400 with 128MB ram a g400 with 32MB and the RR-G series.

If I try to capture from the tuner, it MIGHT start off the capture properly, but then the video either gets blocky/pixelated or totally garbled or colours are totally bizarre. I have tried the absolute minimum quality settings and I know I am using NTSC so my end of things are fine.

I have gotten NO help from Matrox on this. Any advice would be helpful.

Just a shot in the dark given the speed of your system;

Get MGATweak and detune the G400's PLL clock to 232 mhz when doing captures or editing.
