Dropping Frames

Help!! I'm dropping frames like crazy I'm on a P 233 with 128 ram a 4.3hd and a 15gig for video both Maxtor the 15 is a 7200 ata66 my motherboard is a amptron 9100 with support for udma33 I've tried different things to try and end this nightmare but so far no luck can someone help me?

I'm afraid it takes a lot more info than you posted. Which card are you using, what capture program, what frame rate/size/format, etc.

It could be that the Mobo isn't communicating properly with the UDMA66 drive.

Check with Maxtor to see if they have a utility to force the drive into UDMA33 mode
