Mjpeg to MPEG2
Anyone know where I can get the software that comes with the Marvel g400 to do this? Is there something similar? I ahve a Marvel g200 and would love to be able to convert my video files to MPEG2

I found a freeware MPEG2 Premiere plugin called bbMPEG, and it comes with a program that lets you use it without Premiere. There's a ton of tweaks inside, so be sure to skim over the help file first. P.S. Be sure to get the fields right - four options control this on the Advanced Video Settings tab, General->Progressive Sequence, Progressive Frame, Field Pictures, and Top Field First (and remember that G200 captures the bottom field first).

Kcousino: Yes, it will convert MJPEGs to MPEG-2. The quality of the resulting mpeg-2 files is EXCELLENT... though the encoding time is less than excellent. (~30 minutes to encode to 1 minute of video depending on your hardware)Comment
