Does both pal & ntsc dv cams use 720x480 resolution?

OR

Is the resolution different on pal or ntsc versions?

OR is 720X480 a fixed dv resolution

The DV specs are;

720 x 480, YUV 4:1:1, 30 fps (NTSC)
720 x 576, YUV 4:2:0, 25 fps (PAL)
