    No audio on final recording

I'm new to video editing and I
m having problems saving my completed video.

When I save my completed video to tape, I can capture the video, butlose the audio. I can hear the audio through my remote speakers as I record, but not through the TV speaker. I'm using the dualhead feature and have my RCA output cables from the bob connected directly to the back of my VCR.I have a matrox G400TV card and a soundblaster 16PCI audio card.

Anybody out there have this problem figured out? Appreciate the help.

Open your mixer program and make sure the line out isn't muted.

Checked it, but looks like it's not muted. Any other advice? Thanks.

Also make sure that the audio in (sub)cable of the Marvel cable is plugged into the line-out connector of your soundcard.

        Hope this helps.

I had this same problem with my G400 Marvel. The solution for me was to BYPASS the BOB .... I bought an adapter which allowed me to connect the RCA connectors directly from the VCR to the soundcard. Works great.

Thanks for the tips. Turns out I did have my line in and line out cables switched on my sound card. It's working now.
