Matrox G400 DVD playback

Hi,

I have a G400MAx which I am using to playback DVD's through my W/S TV. I am cyrrently using the bundled DVD software. I was wondering what the benefits are of switching to WinDVD2000. Will I still be able to use the DVDMax feature of my card???

There's no hardware DVD acceleration with the G400, so I can't see why other DVD players shouldn't be able to take advantage of the DVD-Max mode (Elie, you've probably tried this ?)

Someone was having more general problems with DVD2000 a week or two back. Try searching the forum to see if you can pick up the old posts.
