Does anyone knows where I can get "avi to mpeg-1" program ?

Is there is some program that compresses avi to mpeg-2 for Matrox Millenium G400 MAX ?

Ligos' LSX MPEG Transcoder is bundled with the Marvel G400-TV, in North America at least.

Once the capture has been made, the compression phase does not involve your specific video hardwware whatsoever.
