Remote Control buttons invisible

I've just installed the Matrox software shipped with the Marvel G400. When I want to use the (full) remote control there are no buttons visible and I also can't use them. Does anyybody know what the problem is and how to solve it?

I believe you can solve it by installing the software in the default directory.
