    Technical info on the RR-G

    I'd like to know the exact chips used for video compression and the tv-tuner on the RR-G.

      TV Tuner - Phillips NTSC, Phillips PAL/Secam

          No, its for encryption software purposes.
          What's this bt748 chip I keep reading about? Seems its standard on the happauge tv tuner...

              Don't know about the 748. The BT848 is a standard chip for RGB. You'll usually find this chip on boards with Vin/Vout and no hardware codecs.
