    RR-G stopped working....

Well, I guess it couldn't last. Last night I had a blast and I could get all the cable channels on the tuner, but this morning, I can only get two channels, and they aren't at their right channel numbers (I get channel 5, but I have to tune to 6...)Plus the quality is terrible.

I have the input set to cable and NTSC, and it seems all the settings are the same as yesterday...yet it doesn't work.

Please help, I feel the urge to grab a heavy object...

First thing I'd check with is the cable company! We used to get tons of dropouts on our service. If nothing changed on your computer, look elsewhere.

I've experienced this sporadic stuff before. Does your power supply give at least 0.5Amps at -5, -12V? If not, it may or may not work. If yes, it should work and the problem lies elsewhere. However, I experienced the exact same problem as you did, and then I switched power supplies.

      Good luck.
