    Got my MSP6.0 VE from ADS

    Well I received the MSP6.0 VE from ADS and am having some difficulty getting it to run. When I start the program, during the initialization phase I get a message saying that VEDITOR has caused a page fault in kernel32. Ulead support suggested that I try coping the MCIAVI.drv from windows/sysbckup/ to windows/system/ and try again. This did not clear up the problem.

    Did any of you beta testers have similar issues?

    regards, don

    Nope. MSP6 loaded in and fired right up on the systems I tried it on;

    1. Asus P3BF, C466, 256 megs, Win98SE.

    2. Abit BH6, C500, 256 megs, Win98 Gold.

    3. Asus P5A/B, K6-2/400, 128 megs, Win98SE.

          Don,

          If it's any consolation I am also having problems installing MSPro (5)and it's been running fine on my various machines for months. I'm getting a crash towards the end of the installation, and if I try loading the application the machine hangs. I've a feeling that I've messed up with DX7 drivers somewhere. As soon as I can get round to it I'll be trying a full system reinstall (its about time anyway, I haven't done one since November)

            Try deleting ulead32.ini from c:\windows.
            Then reinstall MSP6.

                Hi. I am not answering your question, but I really would like to have the same problem myself. You said you got MSP from ADS? How does that happen? I only got the VideoStudio with my card...
