    no sound on vhs

    I'm sure it something quite simply that I've overlooked...but when I capture video to vhs there is not sound! There is sound when I'm capturing it...What am I overlooking...checked all the cables.. worked before?? Thanks for any advice!

    Check your mixer recording properties and make sure "line in" is unchecked or whatever you have your source audio connected to.

    Sometime (and this happens randomly) windows defaults to "mic" or something else other than the what your source is conected to.

      I have experienced that when playing a movie, not using the HW MJPEG, the sound is not passing through the BOB. Somehow (and why?) the sound is turned off. The sound is not turned off from the soundcard, so all I do is connect the sound cable directly to the VHS (not passing BOB).
