Boost felt from 64 to 128 meg?

What kind of difference will you feel going from 64 to 128 meg of ram? I have a Celery 366, a dual celery 366 and a pII 266 computers.

definately a nice big wet one, for sure. working on a 64mb machine compared to a 128 is bloody awful. in fact i'm thinking of popping my 128 to 256 seeing how ram prices seem to have settled back down.

Pricewatch ram prices are dang near scary! 128 meg of PC100 for 60, but the shipping is attrocious. ($29)

I think it is very possible to get 128 for about 85 shipped. And tips about quality?

Dunno about quality, I always buy ram from local stores so if there ever is a problem..

30$ to ship, that's ridiculous.. it's not like RAM weighs 40 pounds. shesh.

Yes those are USD... They try to make up the difference with the shipping.

I am going to try one from Accesmicro for 64 and 19 shipping. 83 bucks is still pretty cheap for 128 meg PC 100.

They had a decent rating on www.resellerratings.com

Ended up going with a 63 and 17.30 price/shipping combo, so will give you an update it my 128 meg arrives working. =)

This company had a scary rating, but only 2 people had rated it. Hopefully I can be a happy user. =)
