Black Transitions and DC10+ remains

Well guys the MSP 6.0 installed OK - now I just have two simple questions:
I have deinstalled the Pinnacle DC10+ board and cleaned out the last of their files with their edit programme but every now and then the systems says it can't find either a Pinnacle or a Miro product - where's the thing hiding!!??
Next one:
I placee a transition in the editing sequence and when it replays (and while rendering) shows a bit of it and then goes BLACK for the duration of any transition.

What am I doing wrong!!??
Looks like I will have a steep learning curve as this product is vastly superior to the DC10+ package.
It looks like seriously good stuff!!

If you don't have Pinnacle products in your machine anymore, have you checked the Registry for any remaining entries ?

Which format is your footage now ?
