    ADS Pyro Bundle Price Slashing!

    There's a full page ad in the August issue of DV MAGAZINE that states:

    1. ADS Pyro "Platinum" bundle with *FULL* Premiere 6.0 is now on sale for $299 (US)!

    2. ADS Pyro "Pro" bundle with *FULL* MediaStudio Pro 6.0 is now on sale for $199 (US)!

    3. ADS Pyro bundle with Ulead VideoStudio 5 is on sale for a mere $99 (US)!

      Hi Jerry, hope all is going great for you.

      This is an interesting development, and certainly a sweet deal for anyone interested in diving into DV. We know that MSP6.5 is on the horizon for release, so that may explain the sudden appearance of a price cut there. But what about Premiere and the Pyro. I wonder if something new is coming on either of those?

          Can't say about MSP6.5 and any possible 6.0 price cuts in anticipation, but for Premiere 6, the Pinnacle DV200 with full Premiere 6.0 has been $299 for quite some time so I don't think one should read anything into this other than ADS coming in line with the competition's current prices.
