TV resolutions?

This may not be the right forum, but here goes:

I've got a Marvel G400 with my TV set for 640x480 with the desktop extended to that set. Is there any way I can get the res higher on that set (NTSC)?

Even if you could, your set would not resolve it.

Thanks Brian. I was just curious because I coulda sworn I'd seen other people project other resolutions of their desktops onto larger tvs. Thanks again

Some data TV's and projectors will accept higher rezolutions (through a VGA cable), but that's about it. You might as well get another monitor.

I had to forego the "nuther monitor" option when I got the Marvel G400. Might get a flatpanel display sometime though....
