Millennium G400 DVDMax just won't work

    Hi,

Only last week I tried using my Millennium G400Max's second port to view a movie on my television. It worked perfectly and this weekend I went to a parts shop to get an extension cord because my tv is quite a ways away from my computer. After hooking it up..nothing happened. I tried moving the tv back using the cable I used originally that did work but nothing...

A friend told me to disable DualHead and hook the cables up before turning my pc on, then turning on DH again, something about different voltages on the cable. I did but that didn't work either. I'm kind of at a loss right now, is my Matrox card broken or what??

    My system:

    Pentium III 933
    512 MB RAM
    Windows 2000 Pro (SP2)
    Matrox Millennium @ 1152/768

maybe it will work when you lower your refresh rate on your monitor

      Hi,

Do you have the DVDMax setting set? That usually does the trick.

I do have the DVDMax setting set and configured yes, it worked like this perfectly last week.

I can try the refresh rate tip, I will do so this afternoon but I'm not sure what difference it could make since it's only the refresh rate for my normal monitor, isn't it?
