    HELP NOW PLEASE URGENT

This is so urgent im considering suicide...or at least swapping sound cards.
My problem is appearing to be quite common, although what ive read about to cure it has not helped at all.
I cannot hear or capture sound from my G400-tv. It is driving me mad, but my only idea is that it may be the sound card. Does anyone think / now if this is worth trying?
OR ANY OTHER IDEAS ! PLEASE ! MY FILM IS DUE IN 3 DAYS! AAAAAAAAAGGHGHGH

Did you check your volume control settings?
cable connections?,swap cables with KNOWN good ones?,do you get sound from other sources?is it on capture and/or playback?,did you check capture audio settings?

Have you tried avoiding the breakout box altogether and using an adaptor to hook your sound source/output straight to your sound card?

I'm just setting up a G400-TV and have noticed this problem as well.

Try getting a stero RCA(for the back of your VCR) to 1/8" adapter(for the back of your soundcard, and completly bypassing the G400-TV Break Out Box. When you go through the box, you end up pluging into the sound card anyways.

Let me know how it goes.
