copy protect function on g400tv

is making me crazy. inputing from a vhs c camera and if it has no picture it says its copy protected. computer hangs and i kick the door. Any ideas anyone

Don't know if this will help you out. But I have the g400tv as well and I am running video tools 2.04.15 the latest one. I posted the macrovision hack which removes the copy proctection from video tools so you can capture from sources like dvd etc. You might want to try that and see if it helps you. Although I would recommend keeping a backup of any files you alter just in case it doesn't work. If you need the hack it's on the first page of the Desktop video forum. Hope that helps you it's the best I can do.
