Canopus ADVC-100 ... any experiences yet?

Canopus recently introduced the ADVC-100.

Does anybody have any experiences with it yet?

I don't have any experience with this product but I would hope it offers something special that can't be done with most modern camcorders that have analog and firewire connections. Product looks excellent for someone with an older camcorder and lots of footage they want to save as DV and perhaps put on DVD. This product does claim to have the ability to "lock" the audio so it remains in sync with the video on the DV file. If that works it could save a world of trouble in working with old video. hapz, just posting a follow up to my post. There are some users on the Canopus forum reporting that the ADVC-100 is detecting macrovision when they attempt to use it to convert video. A few are saying the macrovision is being detected even on non-copyrighted material. Interesting.
