    winXP-> Multimedia-videocontroller installation for Marvel G200

    Hi all,

    sorry for bugging you with my problem. I tried to fix it myself but unfortunately I didn't succeed.

    My problem is that I want to use my videocapture card (the Matrox Marvel G200) with windows XP. As I understand from the matrox site is that they don't bring out the drivers but from other sources I am told that I can use the old Win 2k drivers. I tried to follow the staps in lekx's tread http://forums.murc.ws/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30353
    But I can't seem to install the multimedia-videocontroller.

    I now have installed:
    win XP pro
    driver 5.39
    videotools 2.04

    videotools seem to work but I only get a green screen when I hook on my camera and try to watch it (and yes the camera is runing : )

    Does someone know what I should do?

    Thanks in advance,
    Martijn Reintjes

      Though you're referencing to my post, I have to admit -- I've given up with XP and re-installed back old-good Win98SE. See my final comments here: http://forums.murc.ws/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30353

        You probably need the rr2ctrl patch to fix the green screen in vt. BTW see my post in the thread you mentioned.
