Is everyone on vacation? I'm averaging only about four posts per day over last few days. Or is the darn system playing up again?

I would be editing, but my new Maxtor Diamond Max+ 40GB disk was DOA. I've never heard a hard disk make so much noise when I powered it up - about five times louder than my 10k rpm SCSI disk when spinning up to speed, this was then accompanied by a rattling noise, and enough vibration to shake my SuperMicro full tower case
