    Good luck Chris

Just to say hope the new job goes well for you Chris, and that I ahve appreciated all the effort you have put in to the forum in the last few years.

Dont stay away too long! Although I realise we are all in good hands with Ant and Doc.

    Cheers - Biker

I too want to wish Chris all the best in his new job. It's about time someone across the lake got smart and grabbed him up.

Actually I tried convincing him to come across the pond to the States and take one of the gazillion net jobs here, but no luck. Our loss....

Ditto! But what is this? I haven't seen it on a post and a search has revealed nothing. But then, I've been receiving only about half the number of posts per day over the past week or 10 days than has been habitual.

      ??????????????

In the midst of all the bitching and moaning, it is good to hear some GOOD news for a change

Good Luck Chris, having been there at one time, I know how it feels.

You are away from home, Chris, when you start your 6 month contract (maybe more), but your forum can we reach from the whole wide world. What's the distance to the NW of Englad, in comparation, nothing... The most important is that you are between us and we are with you.
We'll help Ant and Terry (Doc?) to keep the same good quality of your/our Forum.
                    Good luck, Chris.

                            Hi all

Thanks for the support (specially to Biker for kicking it off - he's been in the same postition recently).

Brian, I did post in the news last Sunday to say what was happening but forgot to post to the forum too. So to recap...

I've got a new contract for 6 months in the Northwest (near Blackpool). For the first few weeks I'll be living out of B&Bs (Guesthouses) so I won't have access to my beloved PCs and won't be able to talk to you.
BUT I will be home every weekend, and will be catching up on the weeks "business" here at the site in between family commitments. In fact, here I am after the first weeks work and I'm still in one piece. Missing home and the net tho...
