MarvelG400-TV / Video editing

I have just upgraded my editing software from Avid Cinema to Media Pro 5.2.
My problem occurs when playing back a completed video.Whenever a "Transition" is used the image judders until completion of the tranition.
I have re-installed the software to no avail.HELP HELP please.
My computer system comprises of a Pentium 11 350 CPU, 192 RAM, 2 Hard Drives- the second HD is 27 gb and used only for video capture. Bios is Phoenix 4 Release 6.

Hi Bancio,

Seems to me to be a Field Order thing.

Is everything (preview options etc) set to Field Order B.
