Time lapse recording G400-TV

Does anyone know how to do an automated (programmed) time-lapse recording with the G400-TV (about 12 hrs recording at 0.1-1 frames/s)?

Is that how timelapse is done? I had no idea. I thought it was recorded for 12 hours with a great shutter speed then sped up. Though now that I think about it, it would be hard to do that with video because of teh drivespace required. It's easier with film. Very interesting..
